I started Learn Test Optimize in 2016 as a way both to share my own expertise and insights, and also to stay up to date on the latest news and trends. It started as a small weekly newsletter I sent to a few friends and colleagues. That email list has grown and today it reaches hundreds of digital and political strategists around the world every week.
I launched this website in January 2018 to give LTO a more worthy home and share additional insights via a blog.
About Me
I’m a digital-first political strategist based in Washington, DC. I’m a veteran of numerous campaigns, having led Marco Rubio’s digital team during his 2016 campaign for president, served as digital director of Ed Gillespie’s campaign for Virginia Governor in 2017 and US Senate in 2014, and advised on digital strategy for the National Republican Senatorial Campaign in 2016 and the Liberal Party of Australia in 2016. In addition, I’ve held digital strategy roles at the American Action Network, Engage, and the House of Representatives.
I’m a proud graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee and the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at the University of North Texas.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking for my wife, addressing the inscrutable needs of our cockapoo, Francie, and playing tabletop games.
